🌺 Join Us for a Very Special Surf Day in Honor of Aunty Joy Keahi Mills!
We’re thrilled to welcome you back to our 7th Annual Aunty Joy Keahi Mills Memorial Therapeutic Surf Day at Kahaluʻu Beach Park! This event was originally scheduled in August but due to a High Surf Advisory, we were forced to postpone.
This is a community-driven event offered at no cost, aimed at providing a secure and accessible beach day for individuals with disabilities to safely enjoy the beach and the thrill of surfing.
🙌 Thanks to Hawaii's heroes—lifeguards, surf schools, firefighters, educators, and dedicated volunteers from local nonprofits—Surf Day celebrates connection and aloha.

We have space for 30 registered S4SN surf riders only.

Surf time is reserved just for qualified participants.

Families can enjoy awesome land activities all day long!
🎪 Fun for All Ages
Enjoy fun beachside activities provided by generous local sponsors and volunteers.
An art tent, water and sensory play station, music tent, water safety skills, body art and more!

Surf participants must register online — space is limited and first come, first served.

Check-in time will be from 9:30 AM- 11:00 AM. After 11 AM wait listers will be given remaining slots.

Extra RSVP requests will be placed on a waitlist. If a spot opens up, we’ll reach out in order of receipt.

Sorry, due to surf space limits, siblings and family members can’t join in the surf.

Check-in will be from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM.

After 11:00 AM, open spots will be offered to waitlisted participants in order of registration.
🥫 Share the Aloha We’re hosting a Canned Food Drive for the Hawaii Island Food Basket.
If you're able, please bring a non-perishable donation to help keep the circle of aloha flowing.
This is an alcohol and drug-free community event.
